Trips’ Descriptions:
Hydra Island
Spetses Island: Hydra has a crescent-shaped harbor, around which is centered a strand of restaurants, shops, markets, and galleries. Steep stone streets lead up and outward from the harbor area. Most of the local residences, as well as the hostelries on the island, are located on these streets. Wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the island, including but not limited to cars, motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, and e-bikes. Hydra, is an island of timeless beauty, it is renowned for its preserved architecture and car-free streets.
Itinerary – Optional Stops for Swimming:
• Agios Nikolaos Beach: A long, sweeping pebble beach that edges a bay surrounded by low mountains. The beach gently slopes to the water and the sea gradually deepens.
• Mpisti Beach: Set at the back of a sheltered bay and offers a gently sloping, pebble beach into shallow water. Also if you are more into the bay, it isn’t that deep so it is an ideal place for snorkeling.
• Molos Beach: A closed cove that shelters the rather extensive coast of Molos. The beautiful carnagio Tsamadou adorns the landscape, which, after renovation, has been converted into a residence.
• Mandraki Bay: The only sandy beach on the entire island. Also, a great lunch option due to the restaurant’s stunning location by the sea and amazing flavours.
